HARRY Fisher recorded a second-innings century but Dorset were denied victory on the final day of their Unicorns Championship clash with Wales.

Resuming unbeaten on 25 overnight following day two, Fisher fired an unbeaten 101 from 192 deliveries at North Perrott before the hosts declared on 247 for eight.

That set Wales an unlikely 340 for victory.

And despite Bournemouth’s Simon Woodruff (2-30) picking up two second-innings wickets, a draw was decided on with the visitors 132 for three after 46 overs.

Dorset picked up 12 league points from the encounter, while Wales were left to settle with eight.

Luke Webb’s side now turn their attentions to the Unicorns T20 finals day at Wormsley on Sunday when they take on Lincolnshire in a semi-final.
