CHRIS Wilder admits Aaron Ramsdale is a player he will "always remember" after selling the goalkeeper to Cherries on his wedding day.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper made his debut for Eddie Howe's men on Saturday against Wilder's Sheffield United in a 1-1 draw at Vitality Stadium.

That came more than two years after the Stoke-on-Trent-born ace made the switch from Bramall Lane for around £800,000, with Wilder the manager to give Ramsdale his professional bow at the Blades.

Wilder said: "I sold him an hour before I got married, he tried to balls that up!

"I got married in London and myself and the chief exec sold him to Bournemouth and then when that got done within an hour I was married.

"That's why I will always remember Aaron Ramsdale, not just because he's a good kid and I'm sure he's got a fabulous future ahead of him."

He added: "I wish Rammers all the best, he's such a good kid, he's a great prospect but I'm never, ever going to forget about him."
