COACH Dan Herrington is back at Poole Town.
Herrington left his role as Dolphins reserves boss last month due to "irreconcilable differences" with first-team manager Tom Killick.
Fellow coach Paul Turner, who worked alongside Herrington last season, has stepped up to take his job with under-18s boss Lee Middleton moving up to serve as assistant to Turner.
And now Herrington has returned to the club, filling the vacancy left by Middleton in the under-18s.
A club statement read: "Following meetings between senior and youth committee members, the club are delighted to announce that Dan will be running the under-18 team next season.
"After discussions it was clear that Dan's professionalism and ability to develop young talent within the club was a set of skills that the club could not afford to lose.
"He has been responsible for a number of players' development and their progression towards the first team in recent years.
"Although bitterly disappointed by losing his position in the reserve team, he fully understands that in football, divided professional opinions within working relationships sometimes just don't work.
"However, Dan is committed to developing the futures of the Poole Town youth players."
