CHERRIES will face two friendlies in Spain as part of their 2019-20 pre-season schedule.

Eddie Howe's men are again set to head for a training camp in La Manga for a week in July, as they did last year, as well as playing two matches before returning to England.

The players will fly out to Spain on July 10 and train in Murcia before their first friendly at La Manga Football Centre against an as yet unconfirmed opponent on July 16.

The squad will then head to Barcelona the following day ahead of taking on Spanish second division side Girona at the Olympic Stadium on July 20, before flying home the next day.

Both games will kick-off at 7pm UK time with tickets yet to be released, although they will be free and on a first come, first served basis.

Cherries have four first-team friendlies scheduled in England, away at West Brom (July 26) and Brentford (July 27) before home games against Lazio (August 2) and Lyon (August 3).

The Premier League campaign begins on August 10 against Sheffield United at Vitality Stadium.
