CHERRIES are considering a bid for goalkeeper Joe Hart, according to a report in The Sun.
The former England goalkeeper moved from Manchester City to Burnley last summer for a fee of around £3.5million, but slipped behind Tom Heaton in the pecking order and has not featured for the Clarets since Boxing Day.
And with Nick Pope also penning a new deal at Burnley this summer, two-time Premier League winner Hart is said to be being lined up by Cherries.
The report claims that while Eddie Howe would prefer to complete a deal for Stoke's Jack Butland, they are considering 32-year-old Hart as a cheaper alternative with the £20million price tag for Butland said to have "frustrated" Cherries.
This month has seen Artur Boruc sign a new deal to stay in Dorset while fellow goalkeepers Asmir Begovic, Mark Travers and Aaron Ramsdale are all still options for Howe, but have each been linked with summer moves away from Vitality Stadium.
