NATHAN Ake admitted the threat of Callum Wilson would be “dangerous” at international level but joked: “Hopefully he doesn’t do too well!”

The defender could end up marking his Cherries team-mate during tomorrow's Nations League semi-final between England and the Netherlands in Guimarães (7.45pm).

Wilson and Ake started 30 games alongside each other for Eddie Howe’s men last season.

The duo have amassed a combined 12 senior international appearances between their respective nations.

And former Feyenoord youngster Ake is relishing the chance to share the international stage alongside his club colleague.

Asked about England frontman Wilson, Ake told the Daily Echo: “It will be good to see him and we will talk there. Hopefully he doesn’t do too well!

“Obviously he’s a dangerous threat. He’s a fantastic player, so it will be tough for sure.”

“England’s team is very good,” added the defender. “We played them last year and it was tough, so this game will be tough as well.”
