CHERRIES goalkeeper Asmir Begovic “is interesting” the likes of European duo Fenerbahce and Olympiakos, according to the Daily Star.

The tabloid claims the Turkish and Greek sides are “are ready to give him the chance to revive his career away from Vitality Stadium”.

Bosnia & Herzegovina international Begovic has played just twice for Cherries since January, featuring in defeats to Leicester and Burnley.

A £10million signing from Chelsea in the summer of 2017, the 31-year-old has also been linked with a move to Stoke City, with the Championship outfit reportedly “keen” on re-signing the former Portsmouth star.

Begovic is not expected to feature for Eddie Howe’s men when they make the trip to Crystal Palace in their final top-flight fixture of the campaign today.

Howe confirmed he had given the goalkeeper “the final week of the season off to spend some extended time with his family”.

When asked last week about Begovic’s future, the Cherries boss added: "Who knows what the summer brings for him and for us, but there's been no fall out and he's still a top professional.”
