A LATE volley from Jesse Gould fired Bashley to a 2-1 home victory against Wessex Premier rivals Hamworthy United.

Bashley took the lead inside three minutes when marksman Dan Munday rifled home, however, 10 minutes later Hammers responded through Ollie Davis's close-range header.

The clash look destined for a draw until Gould's left-foot strike flew into the far corner of the net. Bash climbed to eighth and Hamworthy dropped to fifth.

Christchurch ended their league season with a 2-1 victory at Alresford Town.

Goals from Kieran Douglas and Nick Swann extended to six matches Priory's unbeaten run. The win left Ollie Cherrett with 46 points and secured Wessex Premier status next season.
