DIEGO Rico has been ruled out for "around six weeks" due to an ankle ligament injury, according to a post on the left-back's Instagram account.
The 26-year-old replaced Nathaniel Clyne at half-time in Cherries' 3-1 defeat against Burnley at Vitality Stadium on Saturday.
Eddie Howe had been without Charlie Daniels, Simon Francis, Steve Cook, Lewis Cook and Andrew Surman for the loss to the Clarets.
And Rico appears to have joined the injury list.
A post on Rico's Instagram account said: "The tests done after the game against Burnley have confirmed that I have a little injury in the ligaments of the left ankle.
"Fortunately I will not have to go through an operating room
"The estimated recovery time is around six weeks.
"Even though I know it is difficult, I will start working from now on to try to help my team-mates in the last part of the season.
"Thanks a lot to everyone for the encouragement. I will be back soon, stronger than ever."
