A DOUBLE from Dan Munday fired Bashley to a 3-0 victory against Wessex Premier rivals Andover New Street.
Munday opened his account in the 14th minute at Foxcotte Park after he converted Harrison White’s in-swinging free-kick.
The frontman added his second just after the half-hour mark and Harry McGrath poked home to complete the scoring before half-time. Victory lifted Bash to 10th.
Kieran Roberts’s hat-trick helped Hamworthy United claim a 3-1 win against Lymington and close to three points the gap to the top four.
Jake King netted for Lymington, who fell to 14th.
In Wessex One, Lee Vint’s second goal of the game secured a late win for Ringwood against Newport.
Jack Barton was also on target for the New Forest side in the 3-2 triumph.
New Milton shared the spoils of a 2-2 draw against Alton at Fawcetts Field, with Charles Medway and Jake Carswell bagging for the Linnets.
Verwood Town earned a point against Downton thanks to an own-goal.
Tomorrow's Wessex Premier action sees Poppies host Hamworthy United in a Dorset derby and Lymington travel to Portland United (both 7.45pm).
