POOLE Town tomorrow travel to rivals Weymouth bidding to reach the final of the Dorset Senior Cup for the first time since 2014.

Dolphins last reached the county’s showcase finale when they beat Hamworthy United five years ago to claim their third competition win under boss Tom Killick.

And while Poole will be without their manager on the night as he continues to serve a stadium ban, first-team coach Micky Hubbard says Dolphins will be up for battle against the Terras (7.45pm).

He told the Daily Echo: “I’ll speak to Tommy and see what he wants to do in terms of rotation. I am aware we also have a reserve fixture in midweek as well.

“With Taunton coming up (on Saturday) as well, I’m not sure what sort of side we will put out.

“Tommy and I will talk about it, we’ll try to put out the strongest team we can – our priority at the moment is the league but you want to win every game.”

Poole were originally meant to host the game at the Black Gold Stadium but after postponing twice due to a waterlogged pitch, the fixture had to be switched.

Will Spetch returns from suspension for the visitors, while Luke Roberts is still sidelined.
