ANDREW Surman's season could be over after he picked up a calf strain in training.
The experienced midfielder became the latest member of Eddie Howe's squad on the treatment table.
Cherries had also been without Simon Francis, Steve Cook, Lewis Cook, Adam Smith, Dan Gosling and Junior Stanislas for the 2-2 draw against Newcastle.
Discussing Surman's injury after the draw at Vitality Stadium, Howe said: "He pulled a calf in training which was a real blow for us because it was an innocuous looking thing that happened.
"He just planted his leg backwards and pulled his calf. The rest of the season could be in doubt for him."
