EDDIE Howe said he would take “a good look” at goalkeeper Rafal Danielsson during his loan spell at Vitality Stadium.

Cherries last week finalised a deal to bring in the 17-year-old from Icelandic club Fram Reykjavik until the end of the season.

The Dorset club have an option to buy Danielsson following the expiry of the loan.

Discussing the new recruit, boss Howe told the Daily Echo: “He’s got a talent. He will be mixed between the development squad and the first-team squad.

“We will have a good look at him between now and the end of the season.

“I don’t want to put too much pressure on him because he’s very young. We will see how he does.”

Danielsson has yet to feature for Fram having graduated from the second-tier club’s academy.

His move had been agreed before the closure of the January transfer window.

However, due to Danielsson’s age, Cherries had to gain FIFA approval, as well as international clearance, which caused the delay in announcing his arrival.
