PIRATES have revealed details of their upcoming press and practice ahead of the 2019 SGB Premiership campaign.
The annual curtain-raiser will take place on Thursday, April 4, the day after Poole travel to Somerset for a challenge meeting.
Members of the media – including the Daily Echo – will be joined by season ticket holders and sponsors at Wimborne Road from 1.30pm.
The general public can gain entry from 3pm onwards.
Supporters have known the full one-to-seven since Christmas, with club asset Jack Holder returning from Somerset to take the number-one role.
The 22-year-old will be joined by fellow Aussies Brady Kurtz and Josh Grajczonek, as well as Nicolai Klindt and Richie Worrall – all survivors from last year's title-winning team.
Boss Matt Ford has opted for a new pairing at reserve in the form of Nico Covatti and Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen.
Covatti continues to lead the Argentine Individual Championship having stormed to a seven-ride maximum at Bahia Blanca.
It was the fourth time in six rounds that the 30-year-old had scored maximum points.
