RYAN Fraser admitted Cherries had played their part in making Liverpool “look good” during Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Anfield.

The Reds were widely applauded after a dominant performance which took them top of the Premier League, if only for 24 hours.

However, winger Fraser felt there had been room for improvement from his side.

He told the Daily Echo: “We made them look good in certain areas but, at the same time, they were very good.

“On another day, if we defend a bit better, we could have frustrated them a bit more.”

Sadio Mane had appeared fractionally offside before heading Liverpool’s opener midway through the first half.

And classy efforts from Georginio Wijnaldum and Mohamed Salah ensured Cherries returned home with nothing to show for their efforts.

Defender Steve Cook said: “When you come here, you need everything to be perfect.

“I do feel their first goal was offside and decisions like that need to go for you if you are to get a result.

“The timing of the goal was tough because I felt we were on the edge of frustrating them.

“After that, they never really looked back.”
