EDDIE Howe scotched speculation linking David Brooks with Tottenham and labelled him “a massive part” of Cherries’ setup.
The 21-year-old has taken the Premier League by storm since his £10million summer move from Sheffield United.
A report in The Mirror this week claimed Spurs were “preparing a £50million summer bid” for the Wales international.
Asked about the creative midfielder’s future, Howe told the Daily Echo: “David is a massive part of what we are doing here.
“We have a big end to the season from our perspective.
“We need everyone focused on that and nothing else.”
Brooks is set to miss tomorrow’s battle at Liverpool (3pm) having seen a specialist over an ankle problem picked up in last week’s 4-0 win over Chelsea.
Formerly in the academy of Manchester City, the Warrington-born ace has scored six times and registered four assists from 22 top-flight games.
