BOSS Tom Killick has urged his Poole Town charges to find consistency as they bid to end their home hoodoo.

Poole are without a home league win since October, with strong away form keeping them in the mix for a Southern League South play-off place.

Dolphins tomorrow host Chesham United (7.45pm) and will be hoping to follow up Saturday’s convincing 2-0 victory at Dorchester.

Chesham recently escaped the relegation zone and are seven games unbeaten.

Killick told the Daily Echo: “It is going to be another difficult game.

“We’ve had strong results in isolation but have wanted to back them up and that’s what we have to do.

“Chesham’s results have shown they are a far better side now than they were at the start of the season.

“They were pretty much rooted to the bottom for the first few weeks.

"I would imagine if you looked at their recent form, they are probably one of the form teams.”

Killick has the rare treat of an almost fully-fit squad to pick from but Cherries loan ace Jake Scrimshaw is a doubt.

“Jake has picked up an ankle injury," said Killick.

"I don’t know if he will be fit and available. You have to say it is unlikely he’ll figure.

“Marvin (Brooks) came off on Saturday with a niggle but speaking to him it was precautionary so he will be in better shape for Tuesday.”

Jordan Alawode-Williams was an unused substitute for Dolphins last time out and Killick admitted his sympathy for the young right-back.

He added: “Jordan sat it out on Saturday and he probably felt a bit aggrieved but sometimes you just have to change things round and hope that it produces something.

“I thought the back four were very good against Dorchester and that’s no reflection on Jordan, who definitely has a big part to play for the rest of the season.

"It’s not very often that we’re able to think about leaving our defenders out, normally we don’t have enough!”
