WILL Croker faces a fly-half crisis for Lions’ South West Premier clash against eighth-place Camborne.

Stand-off Adam Davies is halfway through a Head Injury Assessment and George Drake was forced off early in last week’s last-gasp 20-18 win at Brixham.

Wing Dan Stewart has a leg issue while number eight Joe Rees has neck and shoulders problems following a physical Devon dogfight.

Camborne on Saturday visit Chapel Gate (2pm) off the back of narrow defeats against Old Patesians and Barnstaple.

Boss Croker told the Daily Echo: “Adam Davies is halfway through an HIA to determine whether he is going to be fit.

“We have got to check on the status of George Drake’s ribs because we think he may have cracked a couple following his first-half injury at Brixham.

“Then we have a couple of guys who are carrying niggles so we have just got to see whether they are going to come through okay for the match.

“Dan Stewart has a leg issue and we will have to check on Joe Rees, who according to what he says left his neck and shoulders in Brixham.

“We will double check on them and hopefully we will be able to get out on the park and put in a really good performance.”
