CHERRIES have completed a deal for Brentford defender Chris Mepham and supporters of the Vitality Stadium club are delighted to finally have him on the south coast.
Centre-back Mepham has signed permanently for a fee understood to be £12million.
Reports claimed Cherries had bids rejected for the Wales international in the past two transfer windows.
Fans took to Twitter to express their excitement and you can read a selection of views below.
Get in! So glad to finally have him with us to hopefully bulk up the defence a bit. Another young player that's only going to improve too. Great window so far! 🍒 #afcb https://t.co/sxHacdSuiu

Cracking piece of business from the club once again to get Mepham at that price. A real bargain imo.

Add the Solanke signing and we have future proofed us somewhat ahead of any potential summer departures. Feel we have done half of our major summer business 6 months early #afcb
Another piece of the jigsaw arrives #afcb 🍒🍒👍 https://t.co/hNbxYyF1GN
