EAST Christchurch SSC powered their way into the last eight of the FA Sunday Cup with a 3-0 fourth-round victory over Broadwater at Littlehampton.

After an even first half, the reigning Hayward Sunday League champions moved up a gear after the break.

New signing Mal Thomas opened the scoring in the 52nd minute, capitalising on a defensive error to beat the offside-trap and slot the ball home.

East Christchurch doubled their lead on the hour when Harry Smith’s long throw took the hosts by surprise and Alex Whitehouse was unmarked at the far post to apply the finishing touch.

The game was up for Broadwater after 78 minutes when Smith’s cross picked out Jamie Trimble who headed home the third.

Ali Garard led the way with a hat-trick as AFC Stourvale opened up a 13-point lead at the top of Hayward Sunday League Division Two.

Stourvale recorded a resounding 9-2 triumph over AFC Wimborne. Robbie Johnston (2), Jack Robinson, Jack Roberts, Ryan Christopher and Celso Faria were the other Stourvale marksmen. The visitors replied through Adrian Groza and an own goal.

Parley Sports wilted under Shoulder of Mutton’s second-half onslaught and the visitors emerged convincing 7-2 winners thanks to Louis Baker Stroud’s four goal blitz and further goals from Joe Guerra and Tom Somerfield.

Pete Jones and Shane Barney were the Parley scorers.

Brad Connell was the five-goal hero when Vienna Suttoners swept aside AFC Fiveways 6-2 to go five points clear at the top of Division Three.

Luke Hoare was the other Suttoners scorer with Fiveways replying through Ali Paton and an own goal.

Ben Bayes netted for Richmond Park Rangers but Bournemouth Athletic moved up to third place after upending them 3-1 thanks to Patrick McKay and a couple of goals from Rich Preston.

James Palermo bagged a hat-trick when Tower Park sank AFC Burton Reserves 9-2. Matthew Wilson (2), Lee Corbin, Alex Corbin, Charlie King and William Mills were the other Tower Park marksmen with Dan Bailey getting both Burton goals.

Luke Scrimshaw notched a hat-trick when Division Four pacesetters Vienna Suttoners reserves extended their lead with a 6-1 triumph over West Mullen.

Sam Purdy (2) and Ryan Ashford were the other Suttoners scorers with Dan Kellaway providing a consolation for the hosts.

Mike Ford (2) and Rhys Huggett gave Scott V the edge 3-2 against tailenders Branksome Liberal.

Morden recorded back-to-back victories for the first time this season when they surprised Redhill Rangers 5-0.

Dean Cunningham struck twice with goals also coming for Paul Lee, Martin Haskell and Rhys Phillips.

Deano Bashford netted for New Milton Borough but Division Five leaders Grange Athletic just got the better of them 2-1, with goals from Adam Cronin and Josh Smith.

Nearest rivals Boscombe Celtic remain two points behind after Alex Rossi’s four-goal blast subdued Christchurch Starre 7-4.

Ben Di Verdi (2) and Connor Picken were the other Celtic marksmen while Starre replied through Sam Griffiths, Nick Burton, Lee Burton and an own goal.

Leonardo Assaghi and Matt Justice bagged two apiece in Kirkfield United’s 5-2 success against Parkstone Athletic. James Smith was the other United scorer while Athletic’s goals came courtesy of Louis Dacombe and Storm Graham.

Aiden Carter’s hat-trick and goals from Aaron Towers, Josh Charalambous and Anthony Stratton ensured Woodville Wanderers remain seven points clear in Division Six.

Yusuf Akanni notched a hat-trick when nearest rivals JP Morgan reserves hammered Canford Rovers reserves 7-1. Jon Asanti, Lloyd Wallen, Dan Hunter, and Dan Warr added one each.

Tyler Gregory, Lewis Worrall and George Burgess netted for Poole Rovers but Siemens just got the better of them 4-3 with Ian Kay and Danny Hill scoring two apiece.

Jarad King was the five-goal star when West Howe reserves blitzed Boscombe Celtic reserves 8-1. Mark Brock, Khaleel Graham and Tim Jackson were also on target. Telmo Goncalves scored Celtic’s consolation goal

JP Morgan booked their place in the semi-finals of the MA Hart Robbins Cup.

Kelly Barth, Gerard O’Mullan and Luke Brown gave them the verdict 3-2 against NMO. Ashley Booker and Jon Spooner were the NMO marksmen.

Ben Collie’s hat-trick proved decisive when AFC East Christchurch progressed to the quarter-finals with a 5-2 fourth-round success against Upton Sociedad.

Ryan Hirst and Charlie Barnes were the other AFC scorers while Sociedad replied through Callum McLeod and Sam Hellier.

MA Hart In-Excess Cup finalists Alderney Manor are also through.

Sam Thompson, Scott Roberts and Scott Arnold clinched their 3-1 win over Bournemouth Sports Mercury, whose consolation goal came from Dean Norman.

Meanwhile, Liam Holland struck twice in Newtown Athletic’s 5-1 victory over Parkstone.

Kyle Graham and Dan Molyneaux added one each. Jamie O’Shea was the Parkstone scorer.

River Smith bagged a hat-trick when Division One high flyers Loch & Quay gave Division Two promotion contenders Wiseguys a 6-0 third round thumping.

Ollie Balmer, Michael Barber and Danny Hiscock were also on target for Loch & Quay.

Luke Hall struck twice to earn Canford Rovers the edge 3-2 against Market House Tavern in the second round of the Dorset Sunday Plate.

Dan Smith fired the other goal for Canford.

MK Interiors were also 3-2 winners when Jamie Webber, Robert Stephen and Lewis Rowe-Cousins defeated Bradford Abbas.

Kai McCrow’s hat-trick and a goal from Steve Ballard were not quite enough to save Quayside from a 5-4 defeat against Gillingham Town Barbarians.

Poole Wanderers were beneficiaries of an own goal by Wyke Yorkies but were edged out 2-1.

Forest United bowed out in a 3-0 defeat against Team Gryphon reserves.

Ollie Jones netted for Redhill Rangers in the Under-18 Division but Lymington Town were 4-1 winners thanks to Jason Walbanke, William Hale, and a couple of goals from Giacomo Bigazzi.
