BOSS Eddie Howe said he would “wait and see” on whether to loan out Tyrone Mings in January.
The central defender has played just 141 minutes of Premier League football this season, having seen his opportunities limited behind Steve Cook and Nathan Ake.
Plagued by injury since his £8million arrival from Ipswich Town three and a half years ago, the former Chippenham star has made just 23 first-team appearances for Howe’s men.
West Brom and Aston Villa are reportedly interested in loan deals for Mings, while Leeds and Derby have also been linked.
But the Cherries boss insisted he would take his time over a decision.
He told the Daily Echo: “His desire to play and the fact he has had major injuries and hasn’t had a lot of football – we will wait and see on what’s best for Tyrone and for us.
“Tyrone has been great behind the scenes. I think he has improved dramatically from the beginning of the season to now after his long-term injuries.
“I have been very pleased with him. His career is in a very good place as we stand.”
