CHERRIES defender Tyrone Mings is a target for West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa, according to reports.
The Sun claims the 25-year-old “could be allowed out” on a six-month loan deal to the Baggies – should the Dorset club complete a move for Brentford’s Chris Mepham.
The tabloid says boss Eddie Howe "will let him go on loan to the Championship to get game time before returning to the club to compete for a regular place”.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail believes Villa are also interested in the defender.
Mings has played just 141 minutes of Premier League football this season, having seen his opportunities limited behind Steve Cook and Nathan Ake.
Plagued by injury since his £8million arrival from Ipswich Town three and a half years ago, the former Chippenham star has made just 23 first-team appearances for Howe’s men.
