CHERRIES forward Alex Dobre has joined Yeovil Town on loan for the rest of the season.

The Romanian international could make his debut in tomorrow’s League Two trip to Mansfield Town, with the Glovers seeking to boost their survival bid.

Dobre is yet to make an appearance for Cherries’ first team having joined from FC Viitorul Constanta two and a half years ago.

But he has been on the bench three times this season, for Carabao Cup clashes against MK Dons and Blackburn and the FA Cup loss to Brighton.

The 20-year-old, who signed a fresh three-year deal in October, featured on loan for Bury and Rochdale in League One last season.

He scored his first Football League goal for Rochdale against Walsall in March.

Yeovil boss Darren Way told the club website: "It's taken a lot of hard work and consideration from AFC Bournemouth to get this deal over the line.

"I'd like to thank Eddie Howe for allowing an international talent to continue his development with us."

Meanwhile, midfielder James Boote has joined Southern League South outfit Poole Town on loan for the rest of the campaign.

Boote, who signed his first professional contract in the summer, has played in the Hampshire Senior Cup, Central League Cup and Premier League Cup this season.

He links up with fellow Cherries youngster Jake Scrimshaw at Poole.
