RICKY King and Colin Littlecott stepped up their preparations for PDC Qualifying School with dominant wins on the opening night of the Swanage Premier League.

The arrows aces, who both registered a pair of 5-0 victories, will hope to secure PDC tour cards at the four-day event in Wigan next week.

King hit two 180s, two 13-dart legs and a 15-dart leg in his second win. Former Bashley goalkeeper David Elm also claimed two triumphs without dropping a leg.

Graham Churchill (5-0, 5-1) and Chris Martin (5-1, 5-1) secured a pair of emphatic victories apiece.

Kev Biles picked up a hard-fought point against Jason March in a 4-4 draw, before going on to win 5-0 in his next clash.

After a 5-0 success in his first match, Johnny Powell lost five straight legs to fall 5-1 against John Hampton, who missed 170 and 130 checkouts on the bullseye.

Hampton also earned a 4-4 draw against Reece Hannah. The latter had already secured 5-0 and 5-1 victories.

Ryan Norman powered to a 5-2 triumph over Jayme Benham, who had made a fine start with a 5-3 win over Colin Barker.

Ollie Oddy recovered from his loss to King to beat Barrie Green 5-1.
