NATHAN Ake insists confidence is still high in the Cherries dressing room – despite a four-match losing run.
Cherries have been sunk by Manchester United, Newcastle United, Arsenal and Manchester City in the Premier League in the past month.
And Eddie Howe’s troops will attempt to get back to winning ways when Huddersfield Town visit Vitality Stadium tomorrow (7.45pm).
Ake told the Daily Echo: “It was always going to be a tough month and we were in all of the four games.
“We showed a few good things against Manchester City and we have to take those into the Huddersfield game.
“We are still full of confidence. We know Tuesday is a very big match and we will be up for it.”
Dutch international Ake partnered Steve Cook and the recalled Tyrone Mings at centre-half in the 3-1 loss at reigning champions Manchester City on Saturday.
Assessing Mings’s contribution, Ake said: “He did really well, especially as he hasn’t played for so long.
“To come back and play like that, he did superbly so I was really happy for him.
“He’s a really nice guy who works really hard every day in training, even when he’s not playing. He took his chance 100 per cent.”
