THE first Riders' Equipment Fund social night of the off-season – set to take place tomorrow – will be staged in the main glass grandstand at Poole Stadium.
It had been due to take place in the Champs Bar but the change was made due to an overwhelming demand for tickets.
The event will feature the screening of the video from Poole Speedway's platinum anniversary dinner, which took place at the start of the season.
Pirates presenter Nigel Leahy told the club website: "I've been overwhelmed by the amount of interest and I wanted to make the evening as comfortable as possible for those attending.
"So we decided to switch it to the glass grandstand to provide us with more room.
"The anniversary dinner was a highly emotional evening with highs, lows, tears and celebrations and to close out the season with a league title was the icing on the cake of a memorable year."
The event starts at 7.30pm with REF members paying £4 for entry and non-members £5.
