NATHAN Ake urged Cherries supporters not to worry in the wake of speculation linking him with a move away from Vitality Stadium.
The Dutch defender has been one of the Dorset club’s shining stars since making a £20million switch from Chelsea in the summer of 2017.
The likes of Manchester United – Cherries’ opponents on Saturday – Manchester City, Tottenham and Chelsea have been linked with megabucks swoops for the 23-year-old.
Asked if he had a message for Cherries fans concerned he could leave, Ake said: “I am enjoying my time at Bournemouth. It is so good.
“I am playing, the manager is helping me a lot and the fans are good as well. They are always behind us so no, don't be worried.
“It is speculation. It is papers. If something is true it is praise that you are doing something right but just keep doing the same, trying to play well for Bournemouth and see what happens.”
Previewing the clash with the Red Devils (12.30pm), Ake added: “At the moment we are higher than them but they are still a top team so it will be tough.
“We are playing at home and we will try to win.”
