ABBEY netted through Jack Holland, Max Wilcock and a couple of goals from Chris Long but the Mark Hart Sunday Senior Cup holders bowed out in the quarter-finals when Steve Flynn and Marcus Cullen bagged hat-tricks to give Talbot Rangers the upper hand 6-4. Rangers will meet AFC Burton in the semi-final.

Scott Turner was the four-goal star when West Mullen got the better of Redhill Rangers 5-4 in the MA Hart Lawrence A Brivati Cup quarter-final. Chris Ashford was the other West Mullen marksman while Redhill’s goals came from James Vallory (2), Connor Doe and Cameron Doe.

Division Five leaders Grange Athetic netted through Josh Smith and an own goal in the second round of the MA Hart Nicholas Read Cup but JP Morgan from Division Six surprised them 4-2 thanks to Joe Taylor, Lloyd Wallen and a Yusuf Akanni double.

Bournemouth Sports Mercury went third after Dean Norman and Rob Sweeney ensured a 2-0 success against Newtown Athletic, while Parley Sports scuppered NMO 7-2 thanks to Brendan Williamson (2), Jon Vukcevic, Martin Johnson and a Shane Barney hat-trick. Glenn Courtenage scored both NMO goals.
