KARIM Lynch admitted Bournemouth’s start to the campaign had been “promising” but would not be getting carried away.
The flying full-back returned to Lions in the summer after a four-year spell with National League One outfit Ampthill.
He has helped guide Will Croker’s men to the top of South West Premier with seven wins in as many games.
Lions are four points ahead of Ivybridge having racked up the most points and conceded the fewest in the division.
Lynch told the club website: “It’s never boring winning! We have pulled away at the top of the league so it’s looking promising.
“But it’s still early on, so we have to keep our feet our feet on the ground and take on the next challenge, which is Drybrook away. I am sure they will be tough.
“We have a little bit of a gap now but it means nothing really. We have to take every game as it comes, keep picking up bonus-point wins and see where we are at Christmas.”
Bournemouth on Saturday are set to visit a Drybrook outfit who have won three of their seven games this season.
They were beaten 25-20 at Barnstaple last time out.
