PIRATES chief Matt Ford has warned his team they must equal their first-leg performance when they face King’s Lynn tomorrow.
The Dorset club stormed to six 5-1s at Wimborne Road on Monday, helping to set up a 53-37 win in the first leg of the SGB Premiership play-off final.
Pirates could make it eight league titles under Ford’s leadership but the boss insists the job is nowhere near done yet.
He told the club website: “We know how good they are at home and we’ll need to put in the same level of performance if we are to win this title.
“Sixteen points is a great lead but they will be up for turning that around, make no mistake.”
