BASHLEY suffered their second Wessex Premier defeat of the season when they were beaten 2-1 by Fareham on Saturday.
Scott Hamilton’s first-half brace put Fareham in command with Nathan Clements replying midway through the second period.
James King’s penalty proved only a consolation for Christchurch as they lost 3-1 at Baffins.
Hamworthy shared a 3-3 draw with hosts Alresford, Sam Bayston (2) and River Smith the Hammers marksmen.
A late goal saw Poppies sunk 1-0 by visitors Portchester but Brockenhurst were 3-0 winners at home to Andover New Street.
Nathan Gray hit a double and Matt Sheedy also struck.
In Wessex One, Charlie Gajic’s penalty earned Verwood a 1-1 draw against East Cowes.
New Milton lost 4-0 at Fawley and Ringwood were beaten 3-2 at Whitchurch.
Tomorrow, Bashley host Alton in the Wessex League Cup, while Christchurch and Lymington face Westover and Parley, respectively, in the Bournemouth Senior Cup.
New Milton journey to Petersfield in Wessex One but Hamworthy’s Wessex Premier trip to Portland has been postponed.
The decision was taken to call the game off after Hammers goalkeeping coach Ben Scott was put on life support having suffered a cardiac arrest.
