TIMO Gleed struck twice when Bisterne United emerged 5-3 winners in an entertaining MA Hart Pickford Cup third round tie against Parley Sports.

Dan Arnold, Ben Walker and Jamie Barrett were the other Bisterne marksmen with Parley replying through Darren Orchard, Gavin Haynes and a Ben Mowlam penalty.

Last season’s MA Hart Poole Bay Challenge Cup finalists AFC Burton safely negotiated a tricky first round tie with Westover Bournemouth, winning 3-1 thanks to Levi Ridealgh and a couple of goals from Dan Brennan. Alex Mackenzie was the Westover scorer.

In the other first round tie, Danny Myers and Jack Myers were the Bournemouth Electric marksmen in their 2-0 success against Bournemouth University.

Leon Jarrett scored all three goals in Milford’s 3-1 win after extra-time against Bournemouth Manor reserves in the first round of the MA Hart Page Croft Cup.

Queens Park Athletic dedicated their 3-1 success after extra-time against Bournemouth Electric reserves to their former player Alan Lang who sadly passed away recently.

Alan had been a prolific centre forward for the club between 1982 and 2000 and a minute's applause took place before the game as a mark of respect.

Tom Pepper (2) struck twice for Park with James Rayner also on target while Teddy Hills replied for Electric.

Dan Vuillemier, Loren Tharme and Sam Ellis netted for Bournemouth Sports in the other first round tie but Gotham edged them out 4-3 thanks to Stu Marshall, Paul Blenman and a couple of goals from Shane Sheridan.

Gotham reserves went top of Division Two of the Hayward Saturday League thanks to their resounding 7-0 triumph over Burley. Alex Hawey and Connor Picken both notched hat-tricks with the other goal coming from John Bailey.

Callum Burt and Mark Trusler struck for Westover Bournemouth reserves but New Milton Eagles just got the better of them 3-2 thanks to Shaun Waterman and a couple of goals from Justin Keeler.

Honours were even in Division One with both games finishing all square at 2-2.

Dan Bailey and Ryan Bailey earned AFC Burton reserves their first point of the season against Fordingbridge Turks who replied through Espen Amundgen and Lee Kirby.

In the other Division One game, Jake Warry and Chris Binns earned Bransgore United a point against Mudeford Men's Club whose goals came from Alex Spencer and Kev Slapp.
