TOUCHLINE flyer Levi Ridealgh weighed in with a hat-trick when AFC Burton opened their Hayward Saturday Premier Division campaign with an emphatic 7-0 triumph over Bisterne United with Sam Nash (2), Jamie Trimble and Alex Whitehouse also on target.

Not such a good start for reigning champions Bournemouth Manor though when they went down 3-1 to goals from Marcus Wilson, Trevor Griffin and Darren Orchard against Parley Sports. Terry Foote was the Manor marksman.

Hamworthy Recreation are the early leaders after Luke Phillips and Carl Edwards gave them the edge 2-1 against Bournemouth Electric who replied through Robbie Harber.

John Bailey’s 90th-minute penalty earned Gotham reserves a 5-5 draw in Division Two against Talbot Rise who had a seemingly commanding three-goal lead early in the second half.

That was before Connor Picken sparked Gotham’s revival with a remarkable four-goal burst. James Bates and Liam House bagged two each for Talbot with Brandon MacKinlay also on target.

Will Weston led the way with a hat-trick in Westover Bournemouth reserves’ 6-0 triumph over West Howe with Mark Trusler, Jordan Picken and an own goal completing their tally.

Omar Alkhimi and Mahmoud Ahamed were the FC Barolo scorers in their 2-0 win over Burley, while Ringwood United poleaxed Cherry Bees 5-1 thanks to Lee Phibbs, Lee Bellowes, Paul Jordan and a couple of goals from Kieran Burnett.
