A SECOND-half brace from Jamie Trimble ensured a 4-1 triumph for Hayward Sunday League champions East Christchurch SSC against Bournemouth Manor in the Champions’ Cup final, writes MIKE FOWLER.

Brad Aspin had given the Saturday kings a fifth-minute lead but Jonny King found the bottom corner of the net with a superb equaliser soon after.

Callum Dickenson put East Christchurch in front with a header from a corner and Trimble increased their lead early the second half via the same method.

Trimble then put the game beyond Manor in the 72nd minute, lashing home on the rebound after a good save by Manor keeper Liam Roberts.

Proceeds from the game will go to Macmillan Caring Locally in memory of James Ryan, the son of Hayward League deputy chairman Mick Ryan, who died earlier this year.

Ryan Attree’s hat-trick proved decisive when Bransgore United got the better of AFC Burton reserves 5-3 in Hayward Saturday League Division One.

Jake Warry and Ryan Hamm were the other Bransgore marksmen, with Burton replying through James McAuliffe and a couple of goals from Sam Nash.

Lee Pearson led the way with a hat-trick when Hayward League newcomers Gotham blitzed Bournemouth Sports 10-1.

Scott Hancox (2), Danny Pinnington, Stuart Marshall, James Bainton, Adam Locke and Joey Bond were also on target. Dean Norman scored for Sports.

Ross Dominey bagged a hat-trick in Portcastrian’s 6-1 triumph over Manor reserves, with Paul Tucker, Pepe Smith and Billy Westbrook adding one each.

Matt Vining and Leon Jarrett netted for Milford but Fordingbridge Turks had the edge 3-2 with goals from Tom Goddard, Lee Kirby and Calum Fraser.

Mark McCarthy gave Queen’s Park Athletic the verdict 1-0 against Mudeford Men’s Club.

Andrew Hurll and Matthew Harrison struck for promoted Bisterne United but visitors Hamworthy Recreation had the upper hand 4-2 in the Premier Division clash thanks to Joe Bennett, Lewis Cannings, Karl Littleboy and James Bergin.

Dean Seal netted for Bournemouth Electric but Westover Bournemouth ran out 3-1 winners thanks to goals from Joe Parker, Wayne Nagy and Ian Male.

Lee Phibbs and Lee Bellowes both notched hat-tricks when Hayward League new boys Ringwood United crushed West Howe 10-1 in Division Two, with Paul Jordan and James Barwood adding two each.

New Milton Eagles netted through Shahed Miah and an own goal but Gotham Reserves were 5-2 winners thanks to Connor Picken (2), Mark Claremont, Carl Phillips and John Bailey.

Liam House and James Bates both weighed in with hat-tricks when Talbot Rise hammered Burley 7-1, with Sean Eaton also on target.

FC Barolo accounted for Cherry Bees 5-0 with goals from Mustapha Agheba, Mahmood Ahamed, Omar Alkhimi, Dan Jeffryes and Lewis Rezzougui.
