BOURNEMOUTH’S Rob Pack is in pole position to claim leading wicket-taker honours in Southern League Division One.

The left-arm spinner is on Saturday set to feature when champions Lions visit Calmore Sports in their final game of the season (12.30pm).

Pack has snared 37 wickets at an average of less than 12.

He is one ahead of Ventnor’s Chris Russell. Calmore’s Mark Lavelle, who could face Chris Park’s men, has 35 victims.

Bournemouth’s Dom Clutterbuck is still in the mix having taken 32 league wickets, although he would need a dazzling display to overhaul his team-mate.

Lions wrapped up the title with a 116-run home victory over Hook & Newnham Basics last time out.

Martin Miller is set to return in place of Jem Warner.

In the Premier Division, Bashley host Havant and Lymington are at home to St Cross.

Relegated New Milton take on Hampshire Academy at Fernhill.
