DORSET'S Georgia Hall tied 28th in the CP Women's Open in Canada – her first individual tournament since being crowned champion golfer after winning the Ricoh British Open.

Hall carded a four-round total of seven-under-par 281, finishing 14 shots behind winner Brooke Henderson, the first Canadian winner since 1973.

Bournemouth-born Hall shot rounds of 68, 70, 72 and 71 at Wascana Country Club in Saskatchewan, sharing 28th with seven other players.

It earned Hall a cheque for $16,949, bringing to $665,599 her earnings in her rookie year on the LPGA.

The 22-year-old, a keen Cherries supporter, banked $490,000 for winning the British Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes earlier this month.

Since turning pro in July 2014, Hall, the 2013 British Amateur champion, has won more than £1,060,000 in prize money.
