MAJOR winner Georgia Hall got off to a solid start in her quest to land the CP Women’s Open in Canada.
The Women’s British Open winner carded a first-round 68 at the event in Wascana Country Club, Regina.
Starting on the 10th, Wimborne-based Hall rattled off four birdies in her opening nine to reach the half-way point four under par.
The world number nine went on to birdie the par-four fifth, before her only dropped shot came on the sixth hole.
Hall is set to begin her second round tonight at 8.43pm UK time.
