MATT Vining netted twice as Verwood maintained their winning start in Wessex One with a 3-2 victory over Fawley at Potterne Park.
Vining drew first blood for the Potters in the 14th minute and restored their lead midway through the second half after an own goal had seen Fawley level.
Charlie Gajic’s 80th-minute effort made it 3-1 before Zac Willis’s goal for Fawley set up a grandstand finish, with Verwood making it two wins from as many games.
Goals from Ben Cooper, Max Williams and Charlie Medway earned New Milton Town a 3-1 victory over Whitchurch United at Fawcett’s Field.
But an effort from Jack Ormiston and an own goal failed to save Ringwood Town from going down 4-2 at early leaders Laverstock & Ford.
Ringwood face New Milton at Fawcett's Field on Tuesday, while Verwood travel to Hythe & Dibden on Wednesday (both 7.45pm).
