BASHLEY pair Alex Turner and Patrick Lewis shared a 157-run partnership as Dorset under-17s totalled 402 for nine against a combined Isle of Wight Cricket Board/Hampshire B side in the ECB County Championships Group 4B.

Turner looked in particularly good form, hitting two sixes and 14 fours in a career-best, while Lewis made a tidy 72 before Hamworthy Recreation's Jacob Gordon hit 91, including 10 boundaries.

But on a Chapel Gate surface which produced a staggering 900 runs in two days, Dorset found their total overhauled as Lymington’s Cam Robertson hit back with 142 (two sixes, 22 fours) for the visitors.

He led the combined side to a match-winning 498 for five, with Jovan Dhirwal scoring 103 and Dan Cox unbeaten on 102.
