BROCKENHURST will host Christchurch in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup following today's draw.

The Sydenhams Wessex Premier rivals will lock horns at the Meadens Skoda Arena on Saturday, August 11 with £2,250 in prize money up for grabs.

Combined Counties outfit Farnham Town or Hellenic League Binfield will host the winners in the preliminary round on August 24.

Bashley entertain Poppies in the extra preliminary round with the winners earning a trip to Southern League Winchester City.

Other preliminary round ties see Hamworthy United host Team Solent and Lymington Town travel to Combined Counties Sandhurst Town.

Hammers will duel for the chance to entertain AFC Totton, while Lymington would host either Fareham Town or Frimley Green.

Wimborne Town will do battle with either Newport or Amesbury Town at Cuthbury in the preliminary round.

Six local clubs all earned home draws in the first qualifying round of the FA Vase – Bashley v AFC Portchester, Christchurch v Folland Sports, Lymington Town v Portland United, Hamworthy United v Amesbury Town, Ringwood Town v Alresford Town and Poppies v Bristol Telephones.

FA Vase second qualifying round: US Portsmouth v Brockenhurst, Verwood Town v Ringwood Town or Alresford Town, Hamworthy United v Calne Town or Fawley, Poppies v Christchurch, Eversley & Californa or Downton v Lymington or Portland, New Milton v Cadbury Heath, Swanage Town & Herston v Team Solent or Longwell Green Sports, Royal Wootton Bassett Town v Bashley or AFC Portchester.

Poppies tomorrow host Pagham in a pre-season friendly at Blandford Milldown (12.30pm), while East Cowes Vics entertain Lymington Town (1pm).
