DORSET star Georgia Hall endured an up-and-down opening round to finish level par at the Women's PGA Championship.
The 22-year-old rattled off no fewer than five birdies at Kemper Lakes Golf Club but also carded two double bogeys to hinder her progress.
A seven at the par-five 11th along with a six at the par-four second in Illinois proved costly, Hall also dropped a shot at the long 15th.
Having signed for a 72, the former Canford Kid is six shots adrift of early leader Sung Hyun Park in a tie for 51st.
