DORSET skipper Chris Park hailed the impact made by all-rounder Josh McCoy since his Minor Counties arrival.
The 20-year-old impressed during his first three-day encounter for the county, in which he claimed six wickets in the 92-run Unicorns Championship victory over Wiltshire.
He also scored 29 with the bat during the first innings.
Former England under-19 international McCoy also featured throughout Dorset’s Unicorns T20 campaign this summer.
Park told the Daily Echo: “In his early Minor Counties career he seems to already have a bit of a golden shoulder.
“He seems to come on and get a wicket whether it be in T20 or three-day cricket.
“With the spell he bowled on day two (against Wiltshire) he probably deserved two or three more wickets. It was an unbelievable spell.”
