EDDIE Howe is among a number of star names listed to feature in a charity exhibition match at Fawcett’s Field next month.

The Cherries boss will line up alongside assistant manager Jason Tindall and coaches Stephen Purches and Steve Fletcher as part of a Cherries legends side, with New Milton Town legends the opposition. Cherries legends are set to be managed by popular BBC summariser John Williams.

The visitors will also include the likes of John Bailey, Ian Cox, Jamie Vincent and Christer Warren in their side – members of the club’s 1998 Auto Windscreens Shield Trophy final line-up.

Bailey remains the only player to have scored at Wembley Stadium for the Dorset club. He found the net when Mel Machin’s side lost 2-1 to Grimsby in front of more than 62,000 fans almost 20 years ago.

Set to be held on Sunday, April 29 (1pm), the star-studded fixture is in aid of Cancer Research, in memory of Emma Bailey.

Tickets for the event are priced at £5 and can be purchased at the New Milton clubhouse.
