SWANAGE Town & Herston remain in limbo after their appeal over a 12-point Dorset Premier League deduction was postponed last week, writes GARETH DAVIES.

With snow bringing chaos to the area on Thursday, the hearing was delayed by Dorset County Football Association officials.

Swans were handed the penalty for playing midfielder Nat Scott without international clearance in the opening eight games of the campaign.

The club was subsequently hit with the points sanction and a £50 fine, electing to appeal the severity of the punishment.

If upheld, the penalty would be a significant body blow to the promotion hopes of Tim Brown’s side.

Brown has further strengthened his squad with the captures of Andy Bartlett and Eliot Parslow on dual registration forms from Dorchester Town.
