RISING star Harry Cornick looks set to continue his swift progress by earning his Football League spurs with Yeovil Town.

Frontman Cornick, elevated to Eddie Howe’s first-team squad this season, has joined the League Two Glovers on a month’s loan.

The 20-year-old, who was playing for Christchurch in the Sydenhams Wessex League a little over two years ago, could make his debut in their derby at Exeter tomorrow.

Yeovil manager Paul Sturrock told the club website: "We are very pleased to secure the services of Harry for a month, we have been chasing him for a while now.

"He is an exciting talent who works the lines. He has two strings to his bow as he can play on the wing or as a centre-forward."

Cherries defender Stephane Zubar has also gone out on loan after returning to York City where he featured last season.

Zubar, who could be involved when the Minstermen visit beaten League Two play-off finalists Wycombe tomorrow, has also signed for a month.

Under-21 midfielder Josh Carmichael and recent youth-team graduate Joe Quigley have joined Torquay United of the National League – the new name for the Football Conference – on a month’s loan.
