LUTON boss John Still has hailed Cherries loanee Jayden Stockley for matching the desire of his club’s established stars.

The striker, who netted in Saturday’s 2-0 win over Accrington in League Two, was the subject of rich praise from his temporary boss having put on a stellar display against Stanley.

Still told Luton on Sunday: “I love Jayden. In the second half he chased four of their defenders, one after the other.

“When they passed the ball, all of them had to go backwards, that was how much work he put in. That is a vital ingredient in your team, it’s not just when you have the ball, it’s when you haven’t.

“I was really pleased with his goal. He’s a young man who has become one of us very quickly. It was a terrific header, a great ball in and he buried it.”

Stockley has scored three goals in 10 matches since joining Luton on loan in January.
