Bournemouth Echo: In a flap Rich Meston

In a Flap, by Rich Meston. Rich says: "I sometimes drive along this road between Moyles Court and Stoney Cross on the way to work as a detour through the New Forest to see if there's any wildlife, mist, sunrises etc to photograph. Strangely, the last 2 times I've driven through here there's been a pheasant at *exactly* the same spot! Here, the bird seemed to be calling to another pheasant as it was occasionally screeching and flapping around like this after hearing a similar sound from the woods nearby."

Bournemouth Echo: Endangered species by Roy Griffiths

Endangered Species, by Roy Griffiths Roy says: "Taken at Steamer Point, a 24 acre cliff top designated local nature reserve situated between Highcliffe Castle and Friar's Cliff on the Christchurch coastline. A rare sighting - you don't get this close to these very often. Sorry they're slightly out of focus but I had to be quick before they saw me ..."

Hot Breath, by Rich Meston. Rich says: "I was out in Wimborne early on Tuesday morning, hoping that the sunrise would be impressive. After spending some time shooting the sun, I caught a few of this great big wooly bull. He was snorting away - I think just because it was cold rather than because he was about to charge at me!"
