POP legend Gerry Rafferty died at his home in Dorset yesterday.

The 63-year-old Baker Street singer was treated at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital in November for suspected kidney failure.

He had been living in a detached rented property in the Upton area of Poole with his partner, Italian artist and designer Enzina Fuschini.

Mr Rafferty is thought to have died with his daughter, Martha, at his bedside.

The singer will be best remembered for his hits, Baker Street, and, Stuck In The Middle With You, recorded with his band, Stealers Wheel.
