REPRESENTATIVES from the police, Bournemouth council and a homelessness outreach team will join a webchat about Charminster this month.

The event, which has been organised by Dorset Police and Crime Commissioner Martyn Underhill, will take place between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday, February 7.

Issues concerning policing and community safety in Charminster will be discussed.

Mr Underhill said: "Stakeholders including myself and officers from the area's neighbourhood policing team will be available, alongside partners from St Mungo’s and Bournemouth Borough Council.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to ask questions and find out more about ongoing partnership work to improve community safety in Charminster."

The PCC said the event will be hosted online as residents with work and family commitments often "struggle to physically attend community events".

"I hope our online webchat will make participation convenient for as many Charminster residents as possible," he said.
