A MUM is pleading for a mobile phone containing hundreds of pictures of her newborn baby to be returned.

The Sony ExperiaZ5 mobile phone and an Asus laptop were stolen from a silver Hyundai i40 parked in Markham Avenue in Northbourne in the early hours of Wednesday morning. (January 24)

Deborah Clark said: “The phone is useless to anyone else as it is broken but it has all the pictures of our new born son who is only 5 weeks old. They are irreplaceable. All the pictures from when he was first born, family visiting him in the hospital and his first few days at home. They are so precious to us.”

Deborah says the phone was stolen around 1am and was traced to the corner of Anstey Road and Creasey Road in Kinson at 2am.

She said: “It’s meaningless to anyone else. The phone was breaking, and they’ve probably chucked it over the hedge.”

“My husband never leaves his phone in the car and the one night he does, it’s stolen.”

“We are desperate to get the pictures of our baby back.”
